These terms apply to the Cuptale app and website. By using either, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple terms.
App Store license
The app is licensed, not sold. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs your license to use Cuptale. If these terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls for the app license.
Your account
You need to sign in with Apple to keep a journal. Keep your Apple Account secure; you are responsible for activity in your Cuptale account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
Using Cuptale
You may use Cuptale for your personal, lawful coffee journal. Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or copy, modify, redistribute or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it.
Your content
The cups, notes, coffees and sticker photos you add remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy. Only upload photos you have the right to use.
Product information
Suggestions from barcode lookups come from Open Food Facts, a community database, and may be incomplete or wrong. Check them before you save a coffee.
Price
Cuptale is currently free. If paid features are added later, their price will be shown before purchase and Apple will handle billing, cancellation and refunds.
Availability and changes
The app and website may change, gain or lose features, or be discontinued. Access can be interrupted by maintenance, connectivity, device compatibility or third-party services. We will not make changes that remove rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Warranty and liability
Apple's Standard EULA contains the applicable warranty and liability terms for the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the laws that apply to you.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change when the app, the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply where permitted by law.
